Exceptionally scarce original WWI WWII Austro-Hungarian Kaiser Franz Joseph Field Cap. I firmly believe this to be the rare WWI version based on the front badge. The FJI brass badge is for Kaiser Franz Joseph and was issued from 1914 to 1916. In excellent condition. Simple red mark on the inside liner. Liner is green. One tiny moth hole in the back and a hole in the front by the badge. A few holes underneath the front visor. A separation where the cloth meets the leather inner liner. An easy repair. A few more spots of wear where the cloth meet the liner. None of these issue show when the cap is displayed. The Leather sweat band is in excellent condition. Size is right around large. A scare and rare piece that displays beautifully and will enhance any collection. Shipping is FREE in the USA. All items come from a smoke free home.
