ORIGINALUSSR vintage hat for General of the Soviet Union Motorized Infantry.This hat is for USSR General Service uniform. The hat has blackleather peak and red band. This beautiful hat is WIRE embroidered.The hat has authentic general cap badge and 2 general buttons. Capbadge and buttons are gold plated. Original generals' cap badges are2 piece construction. Please note that the star is the separate piececonnected to the cap badge by 2 rivets and elevated over the capbadge (see picture). The hat is made out of great quality wool andlined with silk serge. The sweatband is made out of genuine leather,and has a blue silk string for an adjustable fit. This feature isavailable only for generals and marshals caps. Russian size is 58,which is equal to 7-1/4 US size or 22.8 inches circumference. The hatis in excellent vintage condition. This is the original SovietInfantry General hat made in USSR and issued by Soviet militaryfactory in 1980s according to the Ministry of Defense of USSR manual“Rules and Regulation of wearing Military Uniforms” (page 105,pic. 15).
