Austrian Vtg Bone China Side Plates - Brown Eyes Susan Floral Pattern (Set of two included) These pretty side dishes could be used to hold trinkets. As well as food. Very pretty floral trim. They\'re about 3\" art widest portion of dish and about 6.5\" on overall length. Would look very pretty on a dresser to hold small items. I believe they\'re from the 1700\'s, when they would have been used to put meat bones on during a meal and were called bone plates. These dishes have some areas of wear from years of use. They\'re still completely functional. Quick shipper and will arrive nicely packaged. Open to bundling options. Stored in a smoke-free home and closet. Reasonable offers considered.
