Artist Alfred Schonian (1856-1936) was a popular animal painter in Germany who loved painting dogs. This card is from the German American Novelty Art Series #670.

CONDITION: Postmarked 1908.Corners & edges rubbed, small tear in lower left edge. Please check the condition of each item using the photo magnifier; zoom in and enlarge. All cards are original, vintage and/or antique unless otherwise noted. They have normal wear common to all old postcards. Every card is kept sleeved in a smoke-free environment.
