Printed in the USA with fade-proof resin inks on premium acid-free paper, this high-quality print is matted with a precision-cut black top mat over a double-cut white bottom mat with a stiff backing board and is ready for you to drop into any 11 x 14 frame. We seal the entire matted print in a clear acetate art show bag to protect it until you frame it and we ship it to you in a large crush-proof box to protect it.

Each print is handmade to your order in Minnesota.
The color postcard image is 10 x 7.5 inches with a black printed 10-point border and about a quarter-inch reveal to the bottom mat.
The entire matted print is precisely 11 x 14 inches and will fit any standard 11 x 14 frame.You can find a huge variety of frame styles at Michael\'s or other craft stores. We don\'t frame them because the glass always seems to break during shipping no matter how well packaged and also because you should really get a frame style and color that matches your decor. You can get a very nice wood or metal frame with glass for about $8 to $10.
We ship the matted print to you in an art show acetate bag that is sealed with a resealable flap. You can open the bag, take the print out to examine, put it back in the bag and and reseal it until you get it framed. These bags look so nice that many people don\'t even get them framed and just display the prints in the bag. They are crystal clear and really make the colors pop.
Some of these old postcard scans are yellowed, have handwriting, numbers, ink stamps, etc., but before we print them, we clean up the scan, delete writing and numbers, restore the original colors and try to make it look like the day it was first printed as a postcard (these postcards were all originally black and white photographs that were hand-tinted in the 1940s by artists before being made into a linen postcard, so there will always be some strange colors and a linen texture).
