Fantastic vases ca 1890-1910 by Eduard and Albrecht Müller for Schwarza Saalbahn.These art nouveau vases are a matched pair but the cameos show different women facing in opposite directions. A pale blue body with negative highlights of midnight blue is offset by the stark white of both the cameos and the impressive, while damaged, leaf and flower work. They both have the leaf that would have extended out over the top broken off as well as several other areas of loss. They are fantastic candidates for repair, but unfortunately our local guy is booked this year.
I will let the photos speak for themselves. I've been in the business for going on 50 years and these are among the finest pieces I have ever been fortunate enough to come across.
