Some wear/patina consistent with age/use.Details: Irregular oval tray with nude young woman forming lower/forward edge. Her hair wraps strategically under her left arm and up over her body, as well as flowing up and back to form the back edge and small open handle of the tray. The suggestion of water and a wave's edge in the main body of the tray points to her being a mermaid or water nymph. Nice patina with some verdigris in deeper relief. The back is rough cast. Incised or stamped mark "CJAISER" on back.
