Art Deco Chris Collicott Bookends - For Kikkerland.

Sculptural bookends - dimensions are ; 7 3/4" high , 3 3/8" wide , 3 7/8" deep , material is heavy resin in black . Artist/designer Chris Collicott has produced several of these 'Men' bookends . Those offered here are 'Men Pushing' . They are most definitely clearly Neo-Deco in style and are truly enigmatic in their appearance . Perfect bookends to flank a single copy of '2001 : A Space Odyssey' as they remind us of the 'Monolith' the space investigators found on our moon in 1999 (according to the novel) , and here a man is daring pushing back on it , but I digress . In any event these pieces are cool , vintage , and can even stand alone as sculpture . Neat stuff .
