Arizona state highway 86 route marker. Up for sale today is this Arizona state route 86 sign. Made to the exact 1935 or so standard, that hastily supplanted the original 1927-style route marker. The original markers featured the Native American whirling logs symbol. Unfortunately, said symbol looks just like a particular emblem of an onerous German regime, so the highway signs were quickly modified - some were even painted over in the field!
