This card has a lot of great things going for it. In Minnesota, the Van Dusens were a very prominent family and currently their mansion home out in Excelsior has been converted to a restaurant.

The other things that it has going for it is that it is postmarked from Paris 111 in 1930. Then the cancellation has a slogan cancel writing Cheques Postaux Demandez...... Un compte courant.

The french stamp from 1930 is from France and is of Marcelin Berthelot 90 denomination in all shades of red.

Then we have the great 1930 postcard picture of the Arch of Triumph with the word Mona lower right hand corner. The card labeled on back made in Paris by Mona and also has written Impressions- Editions D\'Art on the backs divider.

Then what was written gave me a chuckle which would be typical for an American in Paris. It reads:

\"August 19, 1930.\"

Dear Pog,

You would have a wonderful time in the Paris restaurants --aside from the danger that your mastery (?) of the French language might cause starvation.

The card is in really good condition with only minor flaws, some corner bumps and black marks on front of picture as shown in pictures. No folds that I see.
