An amazing textile ~ this beautiful textile is an antique French printed curtain panel dating c1890-1920 ~the fabric is linen, a stunning finely woven printed linen, SO rare to find!!~Wonderfulnatural ground and the printing is hand block printed . The tones are muted and beautifully faded, they just don\'t get any better than this! ~*~ The design is a large scale Indienne design with Jacobean influence~ gorgeous movement in the pattern ~~ This curtain is backed in a natural cotton and some of the original rings remain at the op. There was once a Turkey red cotton backing, however someone has removed it so the backing now is the interlining ~ This textile is constructed using two full widths of the gorgeous printed linen. It can be deconstructed and used for upholstery ~ a lovely heavy weight.~ ( PR 12)

MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful textile measures approximately : 58 inches wide by 109 inches long ~*~

CONDITION ~ This textile is in as found condition, not freshly laundered with light storage dust. There are some pale marks and this textile is faded ( unevenly in places) with time ~ A gorgeous period textile ~*~
