An antique ambrotype case of a photographed gentleman named Joshua Sharpe, who died in 1866, has been written on the reverse on brown paper. We think it looks American but not too sure.

The photo is in-cased in this decorative frame with gold-coloured metal as the inner frame.

There is a hanging ribbon still attached.

This picture is a great collectable piece with a named person.
