Up for sale is this very rare Union Dime Savings Bank. It features the obverse and reverse of the 1882 seated dime. Union Dime bank was first charted in NY city in 1859 on the corner of 6th ave and 32nd st. A bank exactly like this sold on live saleeers in 2023 for 4,500.00 plus 28 percent premium. This bank is fresh out of a Lake George NY estate that had been in storage for 70 years. If you look up Union dime savings bank on Wikipedia you can read about the history. This bank is in as found condition with original crusty patina. The measurements are 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"
