On offer here is an antique (ca 1900) very cute, \"Icicles\" Cold Cream ceramic contain or \"pot lid\" as they are more commonly called.This type of item was commonly sold (back in the day) in Pharmacies, along with tooth pastes and other ointments which were marketed in these under glaze transferred advertising jars, with the advertising being shown mostly on the lid face, as in this case.This lid measures 2 3/8\" in diameter and stands about 1 3/8\" high when the lid is in place on top of the lid. PLEASE NOTE: The last pic shows another jar alongside this Jar. That other one is listed separately. On offer is the smaller jar on the right hand side ONLY.Nice little \"cutie\" for a collection or just to display individually!
