Antique (ca 1895) La Roche Et Cie, SCARCE English/French Tooth Paste jar pot lid:

On offer here is an attractive, antique, ORIGINAL, fairly SCARCE, "White Rose" Tooth Paste jar which dates to the late Victorian period.As you can see, it is an English/French Company named "La Roche Et Cie". The lid is square and measures 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" and stands about 1 3/4" tall when the lid is on top of the base section, in it's normal position.It still has about 20% of it's original gold band surround that has remained intact, despite being about 130 yrs old.A really nice one, which you just do not see that often on the open market!
