What a wonderful diminutive, antique, probable Georgian, Rosewood, Tea Caddy! Dating to ca. 1830s, measuring 6 3/4 in x 3 3/4 in, and set on 4 brass bun feet, this lovely English tea caddy would make a great accent piece for that tea connoisseur ! The exterior shows wear that can only come with repeated and heavy use over the years; there is noticeable loss and/or wear to the finish (see photos) . The interior lid is painted red; remnant paper is stuck to the inside lid as well. The two interior rosewood lids sport different handles - one of brass and the other of wood.
