Antique c1920’s Art Deco Westminster Whittington St Michael Chiming Mantel Clock:

This is an antique c1920’s German Art DecoWestminster, Whittington and St Michael chiming mantel clock withsilence. This is in outstanding condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful Art Deco style oak body with a decorative embellishment to each side of the case and plinth. The oak has amedium/dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtleshine. The face is circular in shape with a sliver coloured metal chapter ring,black coloured numerals and black coloured hands. To the right of the numberthree is the chime/silence selector lever (fully functional). The face isprotected by a circular convex glass door with a chromed metal bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches,chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to themechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes at quarter past the hour, halfpast the hour, quarter to the hour and on the hour. On the hour it also chimesthe number of hours. This comes complete with itspendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 7th April 2024.
