Antique c.1890 Plate Royal Bavarian China PBM of Germany Beautiful Pink Roses:

This is an antique porcelain plate decorated with lovely pink roses, beaded edge painted with gold paint, and an intricate design impressed into the porcelain around the edges. It is hard to read, but the backstamp reads Royal Bavarian China PMB Germany. PMB Stands for Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf and the B probably stands for Bavaria, as there is a medieval Moschendorf Castle in Bavaria. This backstamp was used starting in 1890 according to porcelainmarksandmore.com.

The plate is 8 inches in diameter and weighs 8 & 1/2 ounces. It is in excellent antique condition with no cracks, or chips. There is slight gold paint loss on the edges, and some marks in the glaze that can be seen holding the plate just right at an angle to the light. I also ran my fingers along the intricate edge and felt no roughness or chips there. This is a really beautiful plate to display and a real piece of art!
