Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working 1870\'s SETH THOMAS Victorian Gothic Steeple Mantel Shelf Clock with Alarm, made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company Thomaston Conn. USA. It has a Mahogany Wood Gothic Steeple Style Case with Decorative Finials, and Reverse Painted Glass Lower Tablet with \'Children\' Design. This Has the Original Painted Metal Tin Dial with Roman Numerals, and Center Cutout For the Alarm. The Original Seth Thomas Maker\'s Label is Inside. This Clock has a Seth ThomasBrass Mechanical \"Time and Strike\" Key Wound Movement, with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime in Good Working Condition, Signed \"S. Thomas Thomaston CT USA C.T. 6 3/4\". There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Brass Adjustable Regulator Pendulum. The Clock measures approx. 21\" Tall x 11 1/4\" Wide x 4 1/4\" Deep.
