This good looking antique wooden dresser chest is a functional addition to your decor. Its dovetailed corners and lockable design with key make it a perfect box organizer for your documents or valuables.

The lid has a raised area,6.25" long by 3" wide.

This would be a nice area for a plaque if you desired.

Most likely crafted in the United States between 1900-1919, this original piece is made of a nicely finished wood material, I'm thinking oak.

The previous owner put green felt on the bottom, see photo 12.

Photo 11 shows some scratches on the inside of the lid.

One flaw noticed on the interior. The last photo shows a thin, less than a quarter inch, gap on the inside front bottom. There must have originally been a thin piece of wood there.
