We've had this about 50-60 years. Displayed with many others in the rec room with war, presidential, and western items. Well cared for, oiled twice yearly with a cloth. Only lock with a key. Key is broken, but with some effort, it opens lock. I am not an antique lock expert, but I do take detailed pics under regular light. I seldom use the flash so you can see the actual color of items. I will point out something if it stands out and not obvious. All locks have varying degrees of rust they were for display only. The pics will give the best description. I want to let everyone know I appreciate your looking at my items. I am not an expert but have grown up since a very young age around flea markets antique stores and such. We worked flea markets from Michigan to Ohio to Shipshewana. And antique stores from Michigan to Florida. 99% of the items I'm selling are from my family's private collection of over 60 years or my father's used book and record store.
