This lovely mantel clock has a shaped case of small proportions with a lovely white lacquered finish. The case has a small brass carry handle leading to the shaped top with gold highlighted mouldings. The body of the case is then square leading to a further moulding at the bottom as well as four small, round brass feet. The case is then finished by an array of hand painted chinoiserie scenes including people, houses, and flowers which finish the clock off perfectly.

The dial of the clock is then brass with a silvered chapter ring set out in black Roman numerals with Arabic numerals marking the minutes. The centre of the dial then has a lovely pitted effect as well as having a total of six decorative brass spandrils. There is then a further silvered disk to the arch reading the words "Tempus Fugit". Finally the dial is finished by two intricately shaped hands as well as a protective glass.

The movement is then both wound and adjusted from the back. The movement is ticking away and working as it should!
