Original Western Electric Railroad Scissor phone with Patent dates of 1909 & 1915. Complete wall mount unit in fully functional condition.
The overall condition is very nice on this phone. Wired correctly with period correct cloth covered wire. The arm fully extends and retracts nicely. Headset is correct with nice Western Electric markings. The phone comes with the brass hardware for mounting. This Scissor phone has the correct original wire clasps as seen in photos. These are often missing or long rusted away.
I've collected railroad antiques and nostalgia for many years and have enjoyed having this phone displayed. Makes a great conversation piece. I will also be listing other vintage railroad items in the near future. Time to downsize my collecting.
