Estate Sale Find! This lovely antique powder box features hand painted blue and white flowers on an ivory background and palest of pink on the remaining section. White hand painted embossed dots follow the swirl design. The inside gold satin lining is in excellent condition. The brass band shows signs of age. There is a small hole on the pink side in the bottom section that I did not notice before I purchased this item. I have put a marker on it so please check photos carefully and use zoom feature to determine condition for yourself. Possibly made by CF Monroe by Rodefer Glass Company in Meriden, Connecticut c.1892.

Measures approximately 7” diameter x 4” high. The pin holding the lid on could be removed if you have a base in better condition :)
