It measures 27\" long and is 2 3/8\" in diameter at the lens end. It is marked \"No. 47072 ROSS London, Patent\" and \"Turn This to Change Power\" as well as numbers around the circumference. Also the work \"TOP\" on one side. Inside the eyepiece there are crosshairs. The metal has a crackled surface and some oxidation/wear in places. Inside the lid of the wood case is printed \"V.P. 15 Gunsighting\", and on one end of the outside is printed \"Eye End\" and the other end \"REP\". The sight appears to be in excellent condition apart from the age related surface wear. Please examine all the photos - there are 21 - as they are an essential part of the description.
