Featured here is a lot of 28 World War II era postcards. Collected by a WWI veteran and passed down through his estate, they are mostly from France - Châteauroux, Dauphine, Vierzon, and Paris, with some other European ones from Croatia and Switzerland, along with a few other non-European postcards from a bit later. Some are in color, though most in black and white. They are a really unique look back in time, as well as having an intriguing provenance from the backpack of a WWI soldier. In decent condition, obviously worn with edge and corner wear and other marks, but not posted. See pictures for closer detail.
Measure roughly 5 3/8” by 3.5”.
