Genuine Antique WW1 Poster That Liberty Shall Not Perish Joseph Pennell 28” X 40” with Mailing Box used in 1940. This poster is authentic 1917 era original item. If it was laid flat and had the complete edge it would measure 28" x 40" which is the large full size version. Printed by Heywood Strasser & Voigt. It came in the flat cardboard box shown that was addressed to the manager of The South Weymouth Savings Bank from The Treasury Department mailed 1940 era. Lots of edge wear and small edge tears, chip missing top left corner, might be missing small edge chips, at least 1 small edge piece has come loose - see detailed photos. It comes in a 1940 era Treasury Department flat mailing box that is solid & sturdy enough to use again for mailing. I plan to mail this flat inside that same box.
