Rare C. WW1 Eade\'s Rheumatic and Gout Homeopathic Medicine, complete with original box and manual.
The bottle is in mint condition retaining original contents and label. With the rise of homeopathic and \"new\" medicines towards the end of the 19th century, Eade\'s rose in popularity particularly for their Rheumatic and Gout pills which complimented their equally popular Universal Anadyne. This example dates from the early 20th century and is seen advertised in a 1914 newspaper (see last photo, not included).The box is in a more worn state but is complete with original advertising leaflet which also notes Eade\'s Universal Adodyne and Anti Bile medicine. Whilst the top of the box appears to be missing, there are remnants of it in the bottom of the box.The box is 8.5cm in length.
The glass bottle is 4.5x8cm.This is a rare piece of medical history dating from the onset of the First World War and would look great in any medical or chemist collection, or perhaps to a WW1 collector!Please study the photos carefully as they make up a part of the description.
