ANTIQUE / VINTAGE CATHOLIC CHURCH ALTAR CANDLE HOLDER, LIGHTER WEIGHT GLASS GLOBE, LIGHT PURPLE COLORED GLASS, BRASS TULIP SHAPE BASE, WHITE METAL SMOKE CAP WITH GOLD PAINT. CANDLE HOLDER INTENDED TO BE USED WITH GLASS CANDLE INSERT NOT INCLUDED - SEE LAST PHOTO FOR EXAMPLES. ATTRACTIVE CANDLE HOLDER, GREAT FOR CHURCH OR HOME USE.

Age - mid 20th Century

Size - approximately 13.5”H without cap, 16.5” with cap

Condition

- Smoke cap shows wear to paint from age and use, soot inside, would have originally had a cross finial - shown as used by the church without finial.

- Globe in good condition may have some wax residue from use, noting there are a couple manufacturing defects in glass - one bump on top rim and a dimple to side - see photos

- Base shows scratches and wear from age and use.

Note - glass candle insert not included - available at many grocery stores etc
