Antique Vtg Plumb Double Edge Axe Wood Handle Sportsmen Dog Logo ? READ AD For Sale

Sorry this is long just trying to give all the info!
Weighs approx 4lbs give or take an ounce.
Not sure of age ~ found this up in the rafters of my garage a while back. Previous owners had lived here forever & most stuff left was 20's-50's. House built in 1890-1895 & they were second owners so possible some stuff could be a bit older ~ My assumption is that this is from somewhere between 1895-40's 50's .
Started trying to clean this up to see if there were any markings.
Plumb is pretty clearly stamped.
When I looked closer I swore I saw a dog in the middle of the axe head. I don't know a thing about old axes or this brand so I tried to search logos and found a Sportsmen Logo with a dog.
Tho I did try to clean up a bit more but seemed more I cleaned the less I could see- UGH! So I stopped cleaning.
The last couple pics I had taken before my second round of cleaning.
