This antique, vintage terracotta pot is a unique piece of African culture. Handmade in Nigeria, it is a beautiful example of a traditional vessel used for plants or water. Its provenance is unknown, but it is believed to have been crafted in the early 1900s in Nigeria or possibly from the Nupe people. The size is 15” x 12” and weighs about 15 pounds. This is very beautiful and the white lines make this pot stand out.
The intricate design and craftsmanship of this basket container is a testament to the skill of the African artisans who created it. It is a perfect addition to any collection of African art and culture.
