WELCOME! VERY Rare Hero Over Mason's Canning/Fruit Jar with ZINC Cap. Base reads Nov 2 C C7 PAT 08 or 80 7" Body without lid on. Reads:Mason's Patent Nov. 30th 1858. Lid reads: For Ball Mason Jars Genuine Zinc Cap Two-sidedseam jar with manufacturer's original elongated air bubble along seam. Lid came with jar but I do not know if it's original lid or not. Body of jar has the blue green cast. Very good condition. Mouth has a few minor nicks or so-called flea bites. (A.K.A. tiny chips). This is a collector's dream.
