Being offered is a wonderful black transferware plate from Sacavem Portugal. The only markings on this plate are an impressed mark \"SACAVEM\" and \"4LA\". Not sure of the date of this plate, since this factory (TheFábrica da Loiça(the Crockery Factory),has gone thru many owners from it\'s start in 1850 and closing in 1994. This plate does not have the printed mark which appears on many with this pattern. This plate is in very good condition, no chips or cracks on noticeable wear on glossy vibrant surface. However has uniform crazing and stilt marks on back (please refer to photos). This plate makes a great display piece.
