For a better understanding of the item condition, here’s the grading system.

10. Brand New Condition (with, or w/o tags). This includes Deadstock or New Old Stock Items-this means Vintage items that are still brand new, and have never been washed or worn.

9. Excellent condition- Pretty much like new

8. Excellent Used Condition- Item has been used once or twice.

7. Great-Item is used, minimal wear.

6. Good-Used item, has some wear, but still has life

5-4. Fair to Good

3-1. Thrashed or Distressed-some people (myself included) like items that that are well worn or destroyed, but are still wearable. For example, Jeans that have holes or are very thin and worn.

This is one of the few novelty clocks made by Telechron and one of the most desirable. This model 8F01 is known as Smug, it has a black bakelite body with an orange Plaskon beak, and painted eyes that follow you. It should be rewired as it has the original plug. I did plug it in for 4 hours, andit works. I have not cleaned it. It is in very good condition and all original. The face cover does spin, dont know if that\'ssupposed to happen, but wanted to mention. It measures approx. 6\" tall by 5.75\" wide and 3\" deep.
