Antique/Vintage Military Canister, Green With Markings, Vintage Military Gear:

This is vintage military cylinder style canister. It is army green with a removable lid. It has three bolts that help to secure the lid, one will not work properly. It is a solid canister.
It has the markings: Lot 274 03/03 on the side, the other markings are unreadable. The lid has a handle. This canister is quite heavy.
I am unsure of what exactly it was used for, but would be very useful to keep camping gear dry, etc.
I have tried to photograph it to show both its flaws and its details.
It measures approximately 17.5" tall and 7" wide.
Selling as is.
Would be a good piece to add to a vintage military collection.
