A beautiful JAZ bakelite art deco desk / alarm clock. This incredible clock is in such incredible condition. The bakelite has no cracks, chips or repairs and has such a beautiful sheen to it. The fact is in great condition but does have some age spots here and there, but you really have to look closely to see them. The clock measures approximately 8.5 inches across the base, is just over 2 inches deep (front to back), approximately 5.25" tall. I have owned this clock for a number of years and it is the clock of mine that tends to always get the most comments from visitors and clock admirers. It is all original and had been cleaned and serviced prior to my purchasing it. It keeps great time! *Initially, when I began writing up this listing, the clock had run for awhile and then stopped. But I have had it running now for at least 4-5 hours and it is keeping great time... It had not been run much over the last several years and I think it just needed some "exercise". I am not exactly sure of the exact age of this clock but am guessing 1920's to 1930's. I haven't seen another of this particular Jaz clock before so think it may very well be somewhat rare. I think you'd have a look a long while to find another of these in this condition.
