Antique Victorian 19th C Double~sided Cardboard Cabinet Card Page with 2 Cabinet Cards. Gorgeous Victorian era, dense cardboard frame page with an exquisite small scale brown seaweed design from an antique cabinet card photo album. The cardboard frame is double~sided, with a different cabinet card photo on each side. When you flip the frame over the photo and frame are shown in the opposite direction. The seaweed paper is a mat smooth surface. The cabinet cards have not been removed from the frame. Size of the overall frame measures: 7 5/8" x 10" to the top of the seaweed design. There is a tiny lip of cardboard extended beyond that under the cloth at the top. Condition: The frame is excellent condition with almost pristine sharp corners, with a darker patina throughout but mainly beyond the printed stripes and towards the edges. The sepia portrait of the child shows foxing within the back ground. The family photo is a sepia or faded black and white with minimal surface wear.
