This Antique lamp is a nice size at 25” tall from base to top of chimney. Beautiful Victorian GWTW parlor oil lamp. A circa 1890 show piece. The lamp was a Pennsylvania private estate piece original oil lamp. I did purchase a double wick style electric burner. The lamp can be used as an oil lamp or used with the attached fitted electric burner. There are two thumb wheels, one of which spins to turn the electric on to use the lamp. In no way has the electric fitter devalued the lamp. It simply spins out of the collar, and an oil burner can be inserted. The globular Ruby Red glass shade is pristine. No cracks or chips. The chimney is clean as well. The pierced ornate iron base is in excellent condition. In the photo you will see the underside has some normal age showing. No cracks in the Cranberry font. I doubt you will find another lamp as beautiful as this particular piece. Let me know if you have any questions.
