This antique Victorian brass serving piece (or display) features figural cherubs pulling a chariot, serving as a charming addition to your dinner table or tea time. Crafted from high-quality brass, this item has a beautiful and intricate design on the wheels that look like roses. The flat part of the chariot is a leaf design.. The country/region of manufacture is unknown .Not only is this item a stunning display piece, but it also serves as a functional serving piece. The cherubs pulling the chariot have very sweet faces. I have never seen another piece like this.The Limoges plate is not included (nor the candy). You could put any 6\" bread and butter size plate on top of the chariot. I have used this piece for over 25 years for serving candy; sugar cubes at a tea; you could use it to display vintage calling cards or vintage postcards. It is a conversation starter for sure! It is approx. 10\" long and 7\" wide wheel to wheel. Please feel free to ask any questions.
