We are able to wind the unit and get the platter to spin but we are unsure how to get the needle down. Also the handle gets very tight and if you let go of it it will spin very quickly and unwind. We are not the original owners of the unit and we do not know the history. The unit does have some cosmetic damage and cosmetic issues from age. We are not accepting returns on this purchase.
