The knives are sharp and appear to not be used, but the one with the walnut handles has some dots of rust. Utica Cutlery Co. has been in business since 1910. It has several stamp trademarks, but it is hard to put an exact date on one of their knives. The stamping on the walnut handle knife runs horizontally with the blade and looks like an older heavier stamp. The one on the knife with the beech handle is vertical to the blade and has a lighter stamping. Both are roughly 5 3/4 inches long overall with the blades being just over 2 3/16 inches from handle to tip. I am providing a cardboard sleeve to cover the blades during shipping.
