Antique Upholstery Fabric Remnant . From Louis XV Style Canapé.:

These pieces are from a Louis XV canapé c. 1760. My parents collected French furniture and had this piece reupholstered in about 1979. This collection of fabric from the piece has been stored since then. The pieces include one piece from the backrest. This piece is in fair condition. Also the piece from the seat section, which is in very delicate condition. There are two pieces which covered the armrests and two little round pieces that I guess were on the arm rests. There are lining pieces and some trim pieces. One one of the lining pieces there is a label from an Oklahoma City company dated 1945. The motif is floral with colors of blue and deep red. This fabric may be of interest to collectors. I don’t think it is suitable for daily use , but could be used for study and exhibit.
