Age patina, pitting, and rust are all very very MINOR for a sword of this age. Very few M1902 Bannerman swords online are in as good as condition as this one! The blade in particular is in EXCELLENT condition. The scabbard and handle show the most wear as they have seen the most exposure. The blade was likely sheathed for a very long time.
Exact age is unknown. Was produced sometime post 1940 as that is when the Francis Bannerman MFG begin producing this sword.
