Antique Thermoplastic Union Case 9th plate OVAL Berg #3-422 Geometric (L1026).
This is a very nice case showing lots of original luster, a little bit of handling wear and one very tiny chip. There are no stress cracks and the hinge is only slightly loose. The case closes neatly but does not clasp. Curved glass, good protector frame with one small area of deterioration. Plain burgundy pillow and a terrific tintype of a mother holding an infant. NOTE: There is a blur in the middle of the image showing movement of the baby\'s hand.
