ANTIQUES TEXTILE- ECRU COLORED NET & COTTON FOR BED CANOPY, COVERLET, TABLECLOTH, ETC. IT IS MOSTLY MADE OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE NETTING (A SOFT KIND, NOT THE SCRATCHY KIND). IT HAS ISLANDS OF COTTON AND OVERALL HAS INTRICATE & DELICATE EMBROIDERED TYPE PATTERNS. IT MEASURES 76" X 165" (A LITTLE OVER 6' X ALMOST 14'). I HAVE USED IT AS A BED CANOPY BUT IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS NOW. IT HAS A NUMBER OF SMALL HOLES -PIN HOLE SIZE OR SLIGHTLY LARGER (SEE PHOTOS) AND SEVERAL THAT ARE A BIT LARGER (THE LARGEST IS ABOUT HALF THE SIZE OF A DIME. BUT CONSIDERING AGE, NOTHING REALLY DISTRACTING. SOME OF THE PHOTOS APPEAR TO HAVE A MORE YELLOW COLOR AND OTHERS LOOK WHITER. THE PIECE IS SLIGHTLY IN BETWEEN BUT IS DEFINITELY AN ECRU COLOR, NOT WHITE. I HAVE NOT TRIED TO WASH OR CLEAN IT. I WILL LEAVE THAT FOR THE NEXT OWNER. IT HAS A LOVELY VINTAGE LOOK AND COULD FIT IN WITH SHABBY CHIC VERY WELL.
