DESCRIPTION:
This is a wonderfulmahogany Mantel/ Bracket clock by\'Elliott LONDON\' who are renowned for their high qualityclocks.The case is made from lovely mahogany. Theclock is of lovely proportions, and very nicely shaped. In addition theclock is retailed by \'DENT LONDON\'.

The case is a nice arched shape and is finished with a pretty shaped brasscarrying handle.The dial isbrass with a silvered chapter ring andis set outwithRoman numerals with small Arabic numerals above, and it is finished with asuper pair of shaped fingers. The four corner are adorned with lovely brassmaiden head spandrels. The arch has a boss engraved \'Tempus Fugit\' which is Latin for Time Flys and this is flanked by maiden head spandrels. The dial is signed to the centre with \'DENT LONDON\' and \'AN Elliott London\'. The chapter ring is alsosigned \'MADE IN ENGLAND\' to the bottom. The dial iscovered withglass which is in perfect condition. The dial is flanked with brass to the two front corners.

The clock is raisedonfour bracket feet. The movement case is stamped with \'E\' forElliott and with \'MADE IN ENGLAND\' and is wound from the rear. The clock is happily ticking away and keeping good time. The underneath of the clock case is stamped \'1016 S 76 HP\'.

The approximateMAXIMUMdimensions are:16.5cm wide x 9cmdeep x 25cmhigh.

AGE:
We understand the stamp \'10/16 79\'dates this to being made in16 October 1976.

CONDITION:
The case isinexcellent condition as can be seen from the photographs.The brass is in original conditionand as such the brass has aged as can be seen in the photographs. The clock isin perfect working order.
