This exquisite trinket box is a unique addition to any collection. The oval egg-shaped box is made of porcelain, hand-painted with a beautiful coach/equestrian scene, and finished with a glazed coating. Measuring at approximately 2 inches in length, this small box is perfect for storing your most precious treasures.

The box features a cardinal on the snap closure and is labeled as an original piece. The brand is possibly Ludwigsburger or Copeland, and the country/region of manufacture is would be either Germany or England. This collectible item belongs to the categories of Decorative Collectibles and Boxes, Jars & Tins, and it is designed for adults who appreciate animals and romance.

This is an antique item possibly from the 18th or 19th century and it shows signs of normal wear, use, and age. The snap closure works perfectly and there are no chips or cracks. The trinket box is marked with two inverted CCs on the bottom in green. From my research, I was able to find only two companies that used the inverted CCs on their items, they are Copeland and Sons and Ludwigsburger. I have attached photos of their maker’s mark to this listing. I am selling as an unknown maker because I am not 100% sure who the maker is.
