This antique soup tureen from Shiraishi Japan features a stunning Phoenix Bird pattern in blue and is made from ceramic & porcelain materials. Measuring 7 1/2 inches in height, 12 inches in length, and 4 inches in depth, this original piece is perfect for collectors or anyone looking for a unique addition to their dinnerware collection. The tureen is also an excellent option for serving soup or other dishes during special occasions or events.
It is in excellent condition for its age, but you will notice in the photographs, there is some stress cracking on the outside of the tureen.
The ladle is likely not original with the tureen. It is white ceramic and is 10 inches long. It matches quite nicely.
