This is a pattern of a dress from the early 1930\'s. It has been COPIED with a pencil, and all of the sewing marks have been transferred. Hand traced on tissue or vellum paper. NOTE: As the pieces are hand traced errors can happen. I have tried to accurately trace every piece. Some smaller pieces are printed on a copy machine. Smaller pieces were copied on a copy machine.

The pieces are placed on a fold. So it is easy to reduce or increase the size of each piece. This pattern has a bust of 34\". By adjusting the pattern pieces it can be made a bit larger.

The Betsy Ross Co. was bought out by a larger pattern maker company around 1939. RARE, I have not seen another pattern like this one !

The style is pure Art Deco classic early 1930\'s. This is a perfect example of a Tea Gown, make it up in floral cotton or voile. You could line the top of the dress. Silk would also be wonderful for this dress. Try to find a large stylish hat and T-strap heels! I love the Art Deco period.

This was once part of my Great Aunt\'s sewing class patterns. Now I reproduce this dress for ladies that love the 1930\'s styles . I do not have the original envelope, it was lost long ago.

You will need 5 1/2 yards of 45\" fabric. *** I would get cheap material or an old flat sheet and cut out the front and back bodice to make sure it fits before using expensive fabric for the final dress. These old patterns run small, people ate less since it was the depression era.
