An antique Scheibe-Alsbach porcelain figurine. While bending over to kiss the lady of his lady with a bouquet of flowers in his hand, this black haired gentleman is dressed in a maroon coat with yellow lining, a white cravat at his neck, a white vest with yellow accents, black breeches, white stockings and gold bucked shoes. The seated woman is dressed in a voluminous gown of bright blue, a purple bodice with pink flower, flowered petticoat in shades of yellow, pink, gold and aqua with a purple shoe peeking out from under her dress. One hand is ready to be kissed while the other is holding a bow and cello. The pair are mounted on an oval base strewn with flowers and stamped to the underside with the ‘Scheibe-Alsbach’ hallmark.
